Description
EGC Spaceflight is a semi-endless runner video game that takes place on various planets. The player must dodge incoming obstacles and shoot enemies. The player’s performance determines the price of EGC. The higher the price of EGC, the faster the player runs, thus the faster the obstacles move. At half rocket power, the player will begin to orbit the planet on a rocket ship. At full rocket power, the player will take off into outer space!
How To Play:
Control the player using WASD to move and jump.
Shoot the ray gun by left-clicking the mouse; press and hold left click to rapid fire (Note: While shooting the ray gun, movement speed is reduced).
Increase speed by dodging obstacles and shooting enemies.
Unlock next levels by winning in traditional mode on prior levels.
Press ESC anytime while playing to pause the game.
Traditional Mode:
Win by reaching maximum rocket power and the target EGC/USD price.
In this mode, you play until you win, meaning you cannot lose!
Your run with the quickest completion will be recorded.
Endless Mode:
Survive as long as you can with a limited number of recharging lives.
Start with six lives that recharge slowly without full rocket power and quickly with full rocket power.
Your run with the longest time will be recorded.

About Me
Who am I?
My name is Dylan Kai Lau, and I am a 19 year old computer science student at California Baptist University. I discovered coding when I was 12 years old, and this transformed into a hobby, a passion, and now a career path. Aside from EGC Spaceflight, I have created several iOS video games on the App Store and a few exciting projects on GitHub. My largest interests in computer science that I plan to pursue are game development and machine learning.
